Judicial Decisions
Judicial decisions reproduced on OCLII remain the copyright of the issuing court, unless the relevant jurisdiction provides otherwise. OCLII’s role is limited to providing access to publicly available judicial decisions.
OCLII makes no claim of ownership over:
- The text of the judgement;
- The reasoning of the court;
- Any part of the judicial content
Case Summeries
Case summaries published on OCLII are original works created by OCLII. They are independently written, structured, and edited representations of judicial decisions.
While summaries draw upon publicly available judgments, they do not reproduce the text of any judgment in full and do not claim ownership over the court’s reasoning or determinations.
OCLII makes its summaries freely available as a public legal reference, intended to improve access to and understanding of judicial decisions across Oceania.
